The ICS Triplex T8191 acts as a specialized communication gateway for the Trusted Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) processor system. This module establishes a secure link between the main control processors and external automation networks. It mounts directly to the rear of the T8100 Controller Chassis to save internal cabinet space. The dual-connector design ensures the module remains in constant contact with both active and standby processors. Consequently, the system maintains high availability and prevents data loss during processor switchovers.
