The GE Fanuc IC697MDL940 is a high-reliability discrete relay output module engineered for the Series 90-70 PLC platform. It provides a versatile interface between the controller and various field-side loads, supporting a wide range of AC and DC operating voltages.

Contact Configuration and Power Handling

This module features 16 independent output channels organized to provide maximum flexibility for system designers. The architecture includes 8 Form C (normally open/normally closed) contact outputs and 8 Form A (normally open) contact outputs. To ensure safe operation, the module groups these channels into sets of four. The silver alloy contacts offer superior conductivity and durability, managing loads up to 2.0 Amps for both 240 VAC and 30 VDC applications. Furthermore, the module handles high-voltage DC loads up to 150 VDC at 0.2 Amps on the Form A contacts, making it suitable for specialized industrial power circuits.
